School guidelines
K-12 Schools must report aggregate counts for new COVID-19 cases (staff and students) on a daily basis to fulfill communicable disease reporting requirements. Macomb County school reporting instructions and electronic submission form can be found under the Communicable Disease Reporting section.
Guidelines for safe child care operations
On March 11, 2022, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs issued Guidelines for Safe Child Care Operations During COVID-19 that are intended for use in licensed child care and school-age enrichment programs. The guidelines provide tools to help child care providers make the best decisions possible to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to create safe spaces for children and staff members. A link to the guidelines can be found below.
