American Farmland Trust
American Farmland Trust is pleased to announce a new Farmer Relief Fund. AFT is raising money and awarding all of the proceeds to small to mid-size, direct sale farmers. AFT will issue up to $1,000 per individual farm starting May 1.
The coronavirus pandemic is impacting businesses that rely on direct contact with their customers, including farmers and ranchers that primarily sell their products through farmers markets and to restaurants, schools, and other institutions.
In fact, a new report estimates that local and regional food systems could lose up to $1.3 billion between just March and May of this year.
To help directly support farmers impacted by the current crisis, American Farmland Trust is launching a new Farmer Relief Fund. 100% of donations to the fund will go directly to farmers.

Take out/delivery restaurants throughout Metro Detroit:
As part of our social responsibility during the COVID-19 pandemic, BEYOND Juicery + Eatery & BMG Media are partnering together to provide the community with a list of local restaurants. These local restaurants are all running promotions to have one common purpose: to help our neighbors find a business that meets their needs. We hope that in this time of crisis, this gives our communities and its local restaurants an opportunity to support and be there for one another.
